This is the first bike I've had since before the kids were born. Now that the last one is off to school, I wanted to have fun again. Spent a lot of time researching and thought the C50 would be the best entry back into riding, considering cost, power, and reliability. So far it has exceeded my expectations. The learning curve was quick and easy for someone who hasn't ridden in years; the bike is very quick off the mark, smooth, easy to handle, accelerates uphill with my big rear-end, shifts smoothly, has a nice throaty rumble without making the neighbors mad, and looks good too! The only wish would be for a 5th gear that works more like an overdrive. Up to 55 mph it just hums and has to work when you get up to 70 mph with a bit of vibration, but not too uncomfortable, particularly when you consider this is a mid-size. haven't tried a second rider, so can't comment on performance there. But for leisurely single cruising, you couldn't ask for more. If you are serious for an entry level bike, look no further.
