Do you want a sport cruiser or a semi-touring bike? This is a great bike - lots of power and great lines. The only drawback is a small gas tank for the size of the motor. It's a good bike for the miles or hauling yourself...

I have owned a 2002 Volusia 800 almost from new. When I first got it, there seemed to be a problem with the bike starving for fuel so I took to my bike shop and talked to the mechanic. He said there was a problem with that model being lean of fuel. So he changed the needle valve in the carb which helped starting. I only need to use the choke for a couple of minutes and no more starving of fuel when just idling around town. It runs perfect and it still has the original battery which surprises me since the lights are on all the time now.

2000 Suzuki Marauder 800

After 30 years off cycles,on May 1 2011, the thrill came back. At 62, I took the plunge and bought a 2000 Marauder (black and fully dressed), with 9,800 miles on the odometer. What a beauty, runs great and sounds great. The only problem right now is, sharing it with my wife (I'm retired so I own...

What a beauty, runs great and sounds great. The only problem right now is, sharing it with my wife (I'm retired so I own the bike weekdays and it's hers weekends). I hope to buy a second Marauder in the spring. We live in a small village, so it's not a problem to ride 2-up on our country roads and not see a car for miles. We are having a BLAST. Stay safe and enjoy your rides.

2000 Suzuki Marauder 800

Bought this bike used, but in mint condition. So far I am very impressed. Comfortable ride, though the seat gets a little painful after a couple hours, but by that time it's ready to be re-fuelled anyway. I would definitely recommend swapping the stock 15-tooth front sprocket for a 16-tooth. It'll...

It'll reduce the revs at highway speed. didn't like the stock mirrors...they look like something off a '70's trail-bike. The after-market mirrors I bought aren't quite wide enough, so I am waiting on a set of mirror extensions from Spacer Jim. Any Marauder owner should check out his site. He fabricates anything you'll need to make your Marauder (and other bikes) more comfortable, and powerful (he sells jet kits, too). Overall, I am very pleased with my 'Rauder. It gets a lot of comments, especially about the stock paint scheme, and the great condition of the bike.

2004 Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800 (VL800)

I bought a 2001 Suzuki Volusia for my first ever motorcycle, street or otherwise. As a bigger guy looking for a cruiser that could handle me but wouldn't feel too small, the Volusia fit the bill perfectly. I bought a 2001 Suzuki Volusia for my first ever motorcycle, street or otherwise. As a bigger guy looking for a cruiser that could handle me but wouldn't feel too small, the Volusia fit the bill perfectly. I only had it for 6 months, but I put 3800 miles on it in those months through the Colorado winter, and the bug bit me so badly I'm now a factory certified bike mechanic. Only things I would say are change out the stock seat, and if you're going to be on the highway, get a windshield for it. Otherwise a beautiful, great handling, good powered bike, for first time riders or experienced ones alike. I hope to get my hands on another one again soon!

2003 Suzuki Intruder LC 1500

I've put 39,000 miles on my LC and it won't wear out. I've replaced the battery twice and the tires several times, tuned it twice and change the oil and filter every 5000 miles with Rotella synthetic. that's pretty much it. I wanted to buy a new bike but this one won't wear out. I guess I'm stuck...

It's been a month since my purchase of 02 Volusia, what a great bike, and very satisfied with everything. I must add that the person I purchased it from made all the up grades. My brother has 07 Boulevard (stock), the Mustang seat alone on mine makes a big difference, as we switch off, we both...

My brother has 07 Boulevard (stock), the Mustang seat alone on mine makes a big difference, as we switch off, we both comment on the comfort level improvement. Other ad on's, windshield, floorboards, heal-toe, bags, passenger backrest, make this bike you can ride for an hour or the day. Buy and Enjoy!

This is a really good machine. I bought it used a couple of years ago and I can't think of anything negative to say about it. It is extremely reliable, and so far it hasn't cost me a dime for parts or repairs. I've owned a lot of bikes over the past 40 years, including several Harleys, and this...
