Now that the weather is nice I try to take her out on Saturdays or Sundays (weather permitting). I'm new to riding so I've been riding it very causiously. Have to say the bike handles amazingly, even to a new rider like myself. Have been riding it up North (Putnum county) on the back roads. Love the way it handles. I do have to say when it needs power it has the power to deliver. Very satified. Great 1st bike :)

I rode bikes when I was young and decided to buy one last bike after retiring. I got the Mulberry and silver 2006 America. I ride about 100 miles a week in very hilly, semi-urban area and get 42 MPG. I've got 600 miles on the bike and love it although I understand now how VERY tight the engine was when I first got it. It required more down shifting than I expected because the low end torque was less than I expected. As the miles go by, the motor is looser and more willing to pull in 3rd and 4th gear below 2000 RPM. It needs better breathing on both ends and someday I'll do something about that. Brakes are the best of any bike I've ever ridden. Stock mirrors can be improved as can the horn and tailight but I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Best looking cruiser on the market. Worst negative is the air injection whistle which is just something to live with-I wish they had gone directly to catalytic converters.

Have had the bike now since February of '06 and have accumulated 5000+ miles on her, and is just now starting to develop her own "personality". She has just the right "backfire" through the stock pipes, I was putting through a parking lot at idle, and she "popped" just enough to kill the engine, which tickled me to death....She fired right back up. Had first flat tire yesterday, (4" concrete nail in the rear), had wheel off, tube repaired (bike patch from Wal-Mart), and on my way in under an hour! LOVE THIS BIKE....Can't go wrong.....

My main concern was being on the vertically challenged side, but feet more than touch the ground. I grew up riding Ossa's and Can Am's so having a reliable bike is wonderful. She rides and handles like a dream. I cannot wait to put some long miles on her. If you are looking for a great all-around bike, I would highly recommend this bike.
