Victory V92C reviews

Bought mine in March '02. Been on it nearly every day since. A couple of adjustments on delivery, dealer picked up at my home then threw in some goodies to make up for the loss of the bike. Handles great on highways, looks great (get thumbs up from hard core Harley crowd), comfortable on long hauls, sounds great and much admired for styling and handling. I just purchased a "leftover" '01 DeLuxe. I'm 51 ,have been riding since I was 15 and have owned and ridden everything.My last two bikews were HD & GoldWing. Wanted another USA built bike and liked the idea of the Victory.Was fed up with HD's dlr's attitude's. researched the bike,bought it($6k under a Heritage).Great torque,good looks,latest tech.I'm satisfied..... NOW HAVE A SET OF PIPES W/CHIP AND SHE RUNS FAST&HARD! HANDLES BETTER THAN MOST ANYTHING IN CLASS. STILL LOVE THE PAINT SCHEME AND CHROME AND YOU don't HEAR THE HARLEY GUYS PUT IT DOWN WHEN THEY ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP! HUGE POWER, EXCELLENT BRAKES, PHAT RIDE! I currently have 12,000 miles on my Victory. Strong points: good quality beefy parts, good performance, handling, solid and stable. mine has turnouts: "great sound" & performance chip, which really increased midrange performance. Knocks: transmission: klunky, with missed shifts, also Polaris is so so regarding stock of add on items. Show less

I returned from Operation Enduring Freedom to find a V92C Special Edition waiting for me. I’ve experienced the Harley Dealer's smug, “you pay what I say attitude” ... I’m glad to see that Victory will take the wind out of their sails and customers from their show rooms. What an incredible bike!!!!! Show less

This bike handles well for its size and has plenty of power. Re-sale value drops sharp you can find a great deal on a used bike. The shifter is clunky but shifts good. Overall it's a nice machine and very enjoyable to ride. Show less

I've owned my Victory for two months now, and there is no quicker way to put a smile on my face than to take it out on the road, even if it's only a short ride. Power is no problem at all. Even at highway speed, there is always a little bit more when you hit the throttle. Being a big guy (280#) I was a little concerned about having a motorcycle that would hold up. So far, except for a minor electrical glitch, so good. The guys (Drew & Thomas) at Criswell Power Sports in gaithersburg, Maryland are great. Show less

I liked this bike so much after a test ride ,that my harley will be traded by the end of the week! This bike has power to spare in any spectrum of the throttle. I highly recommend test riding this bike! Show less

All I can say is WOW!!! I just finished test riding the V92C and it was awesome!!! The power was phenomenal. The style and looks are gorgeous. The ride was smooth and the sound was deep. The bike handled the corners flawlessly and ate up the highway with excellent acceleration. The 1507cc engine didn't skip a beat. You need to ride it to appreciate it. I can see this bike in my immediate future!!! Show less

Recently purchased and not disappointed. Have read the reviews in Rider and other mags and they really don't do justice to this fine piece of equipment. Have a 2000 Kaw Vulcan Classic that can't come close in ride or comfort. If you haven't tried it, I urge you to take a ride. Harley may just have to take a back seat on this one. Show less
