Victory Vision Tour reviews

It's the very best, reliable motorbike I have ever ridden. I have 15 years experience, and now 12 months touring on a new Vision. I've been to the USA, Canada, and all 32 countries of Europe, north to south, east to west. I've not had a single problem riding 67,000 km. in 12 months. I've added another 23,000 km. since then over here on our rubbish New Zealand roads, no problems. You cannot beat a Victory Vision. Show less

It's absolutely the funnest bike I've ever owned. I don't even care where I'm going--it's just a blast. The seating position is laid back. My ipod is hooked up to play my Christian music and worship the LORD. I get comments and stares all the time. It's such a beautiful and unusual looking bike. Show less

I traded my BMW K1200 LT for my Vision. No regrets! Nothing wrong with the BMW but it was just to tall for me to be comfortable. I rode this bike for just 20 minutes on a demo ride and couldn't get my check book out quick enough - still having trouble getting the smile off my mug. In town I go at 2,100 rpm. and at 75 mph. at 2,100 rpm. with goosebump pulling power. I haven't had this much fun since I was a kid. Looks and finish are perfect. Mechanical is perfect. For my 50th birthday, I was going to buy the "dream bike". I had a Harley Electraglide picked out and test rode. I saw a Gunny Victory ad and decided to go test one locally. After seeing and riding this bike. I can't imagine buying another Harley, and being a cookie cutter pirate. No comparison. I have rode for over 35 years, Harleys, Hondas, Kaws and Yammers. I never rode a bike as comfortable and loaded as this one. Looks take a little getting used to, but everywhere I go, people stop me and ask questions or take pictures, it's fun. There is nothing about this bike I don't love. It's very cold here right now. With the heated seats and grips, I went on a 100-mile trip yesterday, and a 150-mile trip last weekend, and loved every minute of riding it. This is a pic of my kid and bike taken yesterday. Do yourself a favor, before buying the hog, just ride one. I rode the Cross Country Tour and the Vision and the biggest decision I had was deciding which one as both are amazing bikes. Show less

I went for a test ride at the Victory dealership. The person who went out with me asked me what kind of ride I wanted. I said fast and lots of twists and I got exactly what I asked for. I love the bike, it's very comfortable, light and easy to manuever and is powerful. The Victory Vision 8 Ball is a very nice ride. Overall I give it a 10. Now to sell the Harley. Show less

I was an owner of a 2008 Victory Vision Tour Premium. With the help of the staff at the dealership I went to, I had chromed out about everything you could on a Vision. My bike met a 200 lb. deer five days after purchase, the deer died. The shop named the bike Deer Crusher and with the help of the dealership staff I had chromed out about everything you could on a Vision. We would end up traveling over 30,000 miles together, Canada, Rhode Island, Long Beach Island, Daytona and Sturgiss to name some of our trips. I was home from Sturgiss about a week and Hurricane Irene hit my home, five feet of water entered my garage drowning my beloved Deer Crusher and my 2007 Triumph America. I now have a 2011 Victory Vision Tour. It only has 3,000 miles so far but I know I did the right thing replacing my Vision. You will not find a more comfortable bike for solo or two up touring. I have only owned black bikes but I could not just replace DC. This new bike is a departure for me. It is two tone with stripes. I think she is sexy and others have comfirmed my opinion. I have to thank the folks at the dealership. They stand behind the bikes they sell with a top notch crew both in sales and service. I'm looking forward to many trips on my new bike, seeing some of the places I have been before and others I have yet to see. Show less

I have owned over 20 bikes in my 13 years of riding and log in about 25k miles a year. I have had mostly sport bikes and last year bought a Harley Road King. I test drove a Vision in Foxboro, MA last Saturday and went in and traded my 2011 Road King right away. The bike was delivered today. I can't wait. It looks like a spaceship, but I love it. I have been an HD rider for the past 10 years with a Road King, Road Glide and an Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I purchased my Victory last month during a big sale here in Florida and also took advantage of the $1,000 Veteran rebate. I did a lot of research on the Victory and decided to make the switch trading my 2009 Road Glide. I am extremely happy with the CCT, it handles better, has more power and I like the ergonomics of the bike. Plus, it's loaded from the factory unlike HD where a lot is optional. I love the ABS brakes, heated grips and seats and MP3 hookup. Storage is tremendous and personally I like the styling and lines on the bike. I looked at the Vision but that's a little over the top for me. It seems that my wife and I have more room on the Victory also compared to any of the HD touring bikes I have owned. Great job and great motorcycle by Victory at a great price. Looking forward to putting many miles on this bike. To all the die-hard HD riders, don't hate. Like Victory said, try one and you will buy one. Show less
