I AM 75 AND BEEN RIDING SINCE I WAS 16 AND HAVE OWENED APPROX 19 BIKES, BRITISH AMERICAN JAPENESE AND ITALIAN. I JUST TRADED IN A HARLEY ULTRA CLASSIC FOR THIS STRATOLIA AND AM BLOWN AWAY. COMFORTABLE, CONTROLABLE, AND GOES LIKE S-----T. FAR AND AWAY ONE OF THE TOP TWO BIKES IVE OWNED THE OTHER BEING A GOLD WING. CONS. NOISY ENGINE AND HEADLIGHT SHAPE. NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE HARLEY THING WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER MUCH MUCH BETTER BIKES OUT THERE SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE. Show less

Fast, smooth, and looks great. Very fun to ride. It is a head turner with added sissy bars make passengers very happy. Yamaha v stars are great looking bikes. I am pleased with it and will always recommend them Show less

I was Riding a 1979 XS1100, one owner 30,000 miles. Wanted to upgrade for something newer, always dream of owning a Yamaha Raider S, when the time came to make that dream can true I hit the Jack pot. I have a 2014 Raider S, 400 miles, with all the factory option. This bike is a MONSTER to enjoy. It has style, power, and plenty of chrome to play with. I chrome my wheels, and put the 240 rear tire on. Trust me it money will sent. Show less

I bought my vstar almost a year ago. It's my first bike. I love it. It's easy to handle, very comfortable to ride. The look is very sharp. All my friends says it looks like a harley. I love the way it sits low. Everything about it is great. I have no complaints about my bike whatsoever. I love the way it rides, very smooth. It's just a sharp looking bike. I tell ya, for a beginner It's awesome. I've driven it everywhere. Really cheap on gas. Show less

Traded in a Suzuki 1400 to buy this bike brand new because the Suzuki was to painful on long rides. First impressions it rides like a Cadillac. Rode it for about 5 years and had to stop riding because of financial issues. Never sold it and brought it back to riding condition with new tires and a tune up after 10 years of sitting. Almost 8,000 on the odometer and it still rides like new. I will probably keep it till I can't ride anymore. Show less

I have been riding for 42 years.Last year upgraded a Suzuki 800 Volusia for my 2009 Yamaha 1300. This is my forever bike.What a difference. She handles great and keeps up with my Harley buddies no problem.I wish I had upgraded years ago. Show less

It's a 2006 Yamaha Stratoliner. It's now Jan 2022. I was looking for bike I found this gorgeous Yamaha is 21 years old and Claiming it only has 1,450 miles on it .I figured it had to be to good to be true .. but I went to see it anyway ,it looked in amazingly showroom condition it started up easy . the saler claim in writing he put on all new tires and a new battery ,and he changed out all fluids and registered it It has detachable windshield and Seattle bags. I love the massive pull my sockects out of arms massive raw available torque at hand in any gear . this beast simply lopes along down the highway with very little rpm at 70mph at 2,600 rpm .it vibrates very little which makes the ride so worthwhile .I love this bike it's a blessing . I do love this bike. True the factory starter motor is not great. The overall build quality is good. The ride and handling are also good. I have had many street bikes from many manufactures and this one is my favorite thus far. Good all around cruise...kudos to the Yamaha project team. Ryan Florida Show less

Sounds better than a Harley, very reliable looks awesome but the most uncomfortable seat. Has anyone found a more comfortable seat. I can’t ride over two hours before my back and butt is hurting to much to ride any further. Show less

The vstar 1300 is a great motorcycle with power and reliability that is not matched in its class! Love my 09, 20000 trouble free miles! Mustang seat, ape hangers and Ivan’s tune are some of the upgrades that I have done. You can’t go wrong with these bikes. Show less
