This is a nice bike. I just recently bought it near my house about 2 months ago. It's a good bike but don't buy it if you jump crazy or don't have enough money to buy new shocks. Overall, a great bike perfect for trails, little jumps and it's light weight so easy on turns and fun to put around...

I got this bike on September 3rd 2006 for a great deal. It fired right up. I was very easy to learn on, and switches gears easy, it's just a normal 5 speed bike but when this bike goes into 3rd you can just fly. The brakes are great, and easy to control, just a little heavy for it's size, but the...

I got this bike on September 3rd 2006 for a great deal. It fired right up. I was very easy to learn on, and switches gears easy, it's just a normal 5 speed bike but when this bike goes into 3rd you can just fly. The brakes are great, and easy to control, just a little heavy for it's size, but the power of the bike takes care of that problem. If you need more power, get a t-4 titaniam pipe, expensive but will help the bike a lot!!! The only little problem with the comfort, which is probably the same for evey bike, is after using your wrist so much it starts to hurt. This is what defines a Yamaha!

THE FIRST TIME I EVER STRADDLED A DIRT BIKE WAS LAST SPRING "05" SO I WANTED SOMETHING SMALL AND WITH LITTLE POWER. I PURCHASED A 2003 TTR 125L AND WAS VERY PLEASED. I HAD THE BIKE FOR A FULL YEAR AND WRECKED THE BIKE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, BUT THE BIKE JUST KEPT GOING. NOW I ADMIT THAT THE BIKE WAS...

Yamahas are just as (if not more) reliable as Hondas. I can have it laid over and it will keep on running. I'm too short for it so I can't start it very well but it starts third try. Its shocking to go from a ttr90e with an fmf pipe, to a ttr125L. Third gear on the 125 is faster then the third on...

Its shocking to go from a ttr90e with an fmf pipe, to a ttr125L. Third gear on the 125 is faster then the third on the 90. Plus two more gears! First gear is some what slow but tourque (great for wheelies) second is obviously faster but still tourque like first. But once you hit third, your gone. Great bike and I'm stick'in with Yamaha.

I got this new in 2003, TTR125LE, and it was the first dirt bike I ever rode. It's amazing for starters, and really anyone. If you have a 250/450 this bike is amazing for play. The suspension is really set for trails, over jumps it bottoms out. Handling feels secure and the weight isn't bad (179...

I got this new in 2003, TTR125LE, and it was the first dirt bike I ever rode. It's amazing for starters, and really anyone. If you have a 250/450 this bike is amazing for play. The suspension is really set for trails, over jumps it bottoms out. Handling feels secure and the weight isn't bad (179 dry, about 185-190 with liquids). Power is sufficient almost always, especially for beginners-intermediate riders. Braking is excellent (front disk 220mm and rear 110 mm drum, non-Large models have front and rear drum braking). Exhaust sounds nice stock and so does after market exhaust, definitely for those watching you, seeing as they don't have muffling helmets on. The seat height is 31.7" making it very accessible. Hope this helped :)

I ride with two other guys who have yz 250's and while they can beat me in the straight away's and on the track they are no match for me on the trails!!!! This bike has plenty of low end and can tackle any hill or trail riding you put in front of it, just when you think you have bottomed out the low end by being in too high of a gear, you hit the gas and it comes to life.

I have had the bike since April 2005, 36,568kms on the clock now, bunch of mods, can not get enough. Little issues with head wind and trying to sit on 110kph with all the camping gear. City, bush, sand dunes, all good. 800km day was sore but felt less tired than a car, no issues at all with bike...

This bike is good, if your a begginner... get it. it goes about 50mph and the power is decent. I've gone up pretty steep hills on it and a close to straight up drop off. If you're my height or taller get the 125le it is a little bit taller. It is a good bike...
