This is my second Triumph. First was a '98 Legend TT. That was fun. This Triple is Scary Fun!! All you have to do is twist the throttle in any gear and you are off to the races. I put Powermax underseat exhaust to show off that big meat of a back tire. Got rid of the micky mouse mirrors for some Rhizoma ones. Can't see out of them but who cares what's behind you on the Triple!?!?!

I bought a 2002 Speed Triple and now have 8500 miles on it. The 955cc engine has awesome sound, and smooth with power at any rpm. It has tons of torque and will annialate any rear tire, and wheelie like hell. Good riding position I have rode for over 8 hours at time with no wrist/back pain. Kind of windy though due to no fairing, the seat is hard though. It will destroy the crotch 600's, but gets a little hairy on the corners due to handle bar and no clip ons. This is great bike, but not a good first bike to start on. This is my first bike, I would say now i prolly should have started somthing smaller... Buy it is cool, strong and oh ya save some money for those rear tires the don't last long!!! ;)
