2003 Triumph Speed Triple Motorcycle reviews

The first time I test rode this bike about 2 mos ago I knew within 4 miles I HAD to have one! I also own a 99 Triumph Legend a carbed triple,so I thought I knew what to expect. Man was I blown away by the performance! Smooth ,crisp throttle response,precision handling ,and pretty comfy too. Have done 250-260 mile days on it with no complaints. Have the Hi CF can on the bike and It Howls! These triples are just incredible. Windblast is an issue over 100mph so I have the mini-fairing on order. If you get a chance test ride one, but be prepared... you'll probably buy it on the spot! Excellent build, quality, and a 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty are just icing on the cake.... Show less

I have been away from street bikes since my 1994 Kawasaki ZX6, but have been riding dirt on my ATK 605 for several years and other street and dirt bikes many years before that. I decided to jump back into the street scene headfirst. I have had a love affair with Triumph's since I saw my first 750 Tiger and Trident, too many years ago. I looked at everything from Ducati's to Yamaha's. But kept coming back to the Speed 3. I am happy I did. It is AWESOME in every way (except for the mirrors, I like my shoulders but don't like to look at them all the time) Just look at the reviews on the Internet and you will see what I mean. And last but not least is the incredible sound coming from this thing; it is unreal, sounds like a Porsche on steroids. Show less

The handling is scary....to good..breeds over-confidance. I love this bike, my 3rd. Triumph. Tracks straight and true, engine always willing...what more do you want??? OK, one problem..the mirrors suck.. Show less
