Everywhere I go it gets more attention than my friend's 1000 and 600 rr Hondas. They hate it. This is a bike I'll never get rid of. Especially coming off a Honda, I've never felt so comfortable on a bike with out it being a cruiser. On to the Speedmaster. I need two bikes in the garage. lol ..

For a big guy like me it is very comfortable. It is one of the main reasons I bought it. For me it has plenty of power, especially when it hits the horseband, WOW!! For anyone who is curious about this bike I say just ride it and you'll see. You won't be dissapointed. Good job Triumph.

This is my first bike, though I've grown up riding dirbikes and motorcycles, I'd never owned a sportbike. I had ridden my buddy's GSX R6 and his dad's 600 Katana, but they don't even compare to this bike. The throttle response is instantaneous, though a bit twitchy in the low rpm range. The powerband kicks in just after 6000 rpm, and man let me tell you, you had better hold on tight because you're going to hit incredibly illegal speeds in no time. The chasis is superb and gives the bike excellent flickability in the twisties. The ergonomics could be a bit more comfortable, though I suspect that someone taller than I, would have no problems. The bike comes with a bulky, somewhat ugly stock pipe, that gives the bike a deep, yet restrained tone. I upgraded to a Leovince SBK Brushed Aluminum Racing Pipe, which not only upgraded the looks and added a her HP, it sounds incredible! This is the pipe for this bike! This bike's looks will get you more stares from people than any of the Japanese bikes. A guy at the local bike shop with an '05 Ninja 636 said it was the best looking bike out right now when he saw me ride up on this thing. If you want a high-performing, unique-looking bike, then this is the one for you! I love this bike and am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

And now that I add a Jardine exhaust I can't keep the front tire down in first gear. But the bike is by far the most comfortable, power, and better turning then any other 600 I have ever ridden

This past fall I sold my Buell and was looking for a 600cc that was good on the street and fast on the track. I rode the Daytona 600 and fell in love with it. So I determined that I needed to ride the Suzuki GSXR 600 because the journalist said it was the best 600cc bike. The Triumph was a much better bike because it felt like a bike that was built better. The Triumph had better low-end power and it did not feel like it was going to fall apart when I accelerated. After I purchased the Triumph, I have ridden with friends that have GSXR 600's, R6's, and CBR 600's and the only bike that comes close to keeping up is the Honda. The Gixer just gets blown away. Therefore, the Triumph Daytona 600 is the best 600cc bike on the market. Plus it is cheaper than the other 600's.

After 4500 miles in about three months, I've come to the conclusion that Triumph's Daytona 600 might just be the best bike in its class for real roads. It has superb suspension with a broad and meaningful range of adjustment. The ergonomics, while sporting, are reasonably comfortable for a six-footer, the only front-line 600 other than the Suzuki that can make that claim. The seat is good for a tankful (c. 175mi. at freeway cruising speed), and the wind protection is decent. The handling is superlative, especially with the suspension adjusted for my non-inconsiderable weight. With the clickers all around set to approximately a quarter of their range down from max, the bike is well controlled when riding hard but remains reasonably compliant over rough patches. The steering is quick but neutral, and the bike has that hard-to-pin-down sense of intuitiveness that boosts rider confidence. Whatever engine performance deficits it may suffer in comparison to the other four-cylinder bikes in its class are largely only noticible on the track and in the hands of an accomplished rider. With the latest injection map, it pulls well from the midrange and certianly seems fast enough for me, a rider previously used to liter-class twin sportbikes. More frantic than those twins, of course, but that just goes with 600 supersport territory. No problems whatsoever, so far, and the bike seems well put-together. All-in-all, I'm very happy with my Daytona.

Well, what can I say. I agree fully with everyone else's reviews. This bike screams. The sound of the engine at the higher revs makes the blood boil and makes want to twist the wrist every time from a stoplight. The bike handles like a dream, through corners, straight lines, anything. I'm a big guy and had trouble finding a 600 machine that I felt comfortable on, I finally found it (not to mention the incredible styling from the Brits). So, if your a big guy, don't worry you to can ride a 600. Who needs any bigger anyways, 155 mph will get your license taken away just about anywhere! This bike is THE bike if you are in the market for a super machine, hands down the best on the road. Bring on the other bikes, no one will survive!!!!

In a nutshell: this is the only motivation to ride a bike and if you are going to ride only one-- make it this one. It is reassuringly "on your side" and is capable of taking a complete novice all the way through to knee-down. In terms of handling, you really feel appreciate the road setup. Have heard about "tank slap" but never know a rider to provoke such things from this bike-- it's that tuned. Have heard critics bemoan about poor mid-range: I'd say, "adjust to the Daytona's riding style" -- in that, if you want raw performance at low speeds: adjust the revs accordingly. Admittedly, the beast only starts to wake up between 8,000 to 10,000 rpm ... but when it does: what a sweet note she produces.
