I absolutely love this motorcycle. I test road one during the motorcycle weekend and decided that the white 1 with the black and red is the 1 that I wanted. This bike is very responsive. Quite comfortable, even though I'm 5 foot 10 tall. It is also heavy enough to withstand large winds. The hmm shocks and back entire bike shock system is entirely adjustable. I had my husband adjust mine for my weight. Heights and writing style, which was semiaggressive but not so much that every bump, is gonna hurt my back. This bike hugs corners if you're looking for a ducati and you don't have the money this is the one! The only thing that I don't like about it is that when you turn the bike off, there's a lock, the location to lock the steering column and then slightly after that is lock with the headlights on for whatever reason. If you put it on that your battery dies and it's just yea, a couple millimeters difference, that is my only complaint. I get so many looks on this bike.It's not even funny Show less

I love this motorcycle. Smooth throttle response, the "ride by wire" throttle is fantastic. If you have never tried this type of throttle, you're missing out; there is zero delay in the throttle response. The Brembo brake system is top-notch. I got to put them to the test on the track, and they did not disappoint. The stock muffler is ugly af, so I imagine most people will want to swap that out. Nice thing tho, you get to drop a lot of weight cause the stock setup is pretty heavy. The Ohlins shocks are impressive as well. I highly recommend going online and learning how to adjust them properly for your weight and terrain. Oh, the only real downside I can think of is the oil change light on the 2018 requires an app obd2 to reset it after each oil change, or you have to pay the dealerships like $20 bucks just to reset the damn light each oil change. (its clearly a software bug, because there is an option for resetting the oil light in the menu, but its a known issue for the 2018 that it doesn't work) Show less

Bought as my first bike and love every bit of it. I am 6'5" @ 230. This bike fits me well I can flat foot it easily. Riding position is comfortable. This bike has enough power to go 90 with me on it and still have more to give. I added the Triumph frame sliders and passenger grab rails. The passenger grab rails are a must if you are riding with someone. With my wife(140) and I this bike will go 80 and still want to go faster if needed. Bike has ABS,traction control, rider modes, and a quick shifter. You can also tame the throttle for new riders too get use to the power before unleashing it all. I love this bike and would recommend it to anyone! Show less

A brilliant collectors motorcycle. Stylistically, a gem. Rides like a Thruxton, looks like something out of a museum. Ps. In the canyons this bike will ride like a super bike. Around town it rides like a gentleman's sport bike. Show less

I've owned everything from RZ350's to Husqvarna 510 Supermoto's to a Triumph Scrambler to a Yamaha R1 and several other bikes as well. I tour, do several track days a year and ride MX so I would consider myself a pretty well-rounded rider. I bought my Street Triple at dealership in Whitby, Ontario, Canada in the fall of 2012. I couldn't believe the torque and horsepower that the triple motor could make. It handles lightning fast like a Supermoto and hauls like a Superbike. I have already ridden from Toronto to New Brunswick and back, and just recently returned from a trip to Tennessee and North Carolina. I'm sure there may be more comfortable touring bikes, but the Street triple really is that versatile. This bike definitely is going to be around for the long haul. Show less

I started riding motorcycles on the road in 2006, started on an '02 GSXR750. I learned a lot on that, but one day I rode an SV650s and never knew what a bike like that was capable of. I thought I was on the right bike, for LIFE, but then I saw a street triple R and feel in love all over again. I didn't need to ride it, I knew it was a go as soon as I laid my eyes on it. I rode it on 18 mountains in Laurel Springs and was dragging knee in the first turn just cruising, it handles like NO other! I hope this bike is the last for me for 20 years, because it's everything I want/need for the mountains of NC/TN. Show less

It has a smoothly responsive engine and handling, the bike is powerful yet controllable. It turns heads with its looks and burbling, muscular sound. It's a great combination bike for track riding or touring/commuting. The seat is pretty unsupportive, and the steering lock is very limited. A few seals had to be replaced by the dealer and they had problems with the regulator/rectifiers that are now solved. In the final analysis this bike has instant classic written all over it. First off, let me say this bike is not for someone who does not want speed. It's super fast on the road, super light, super smooth and the power is addicting. The symphony of pistons is incredible. The only gripes I have are with the steering stops and speedometer. It is very hard to maneuver around in the garage and the speedometer is hidden behind the cables while you are seated. Now for the shocker. I just traded it in on a 2010 Bonneville. It was just too fast for my self control. Show less

Just got this bike and have only put a couple hundred miles on it, have loved every second. This is my fun on weekend and commuter bike. I'm tall and long legged with a 34" inseam and don't like the tucked or stretched out in front of you leg position of most bikes. This is the most comfortable bike under 500 lbs that I could find. That being said I couldn't be happier with the performance or dealer experience. This bike has a very tall first gear and moves down the road with some real pep. wasn't expecting it to be so quick with a rider my size on it. The only dislikes I have are ugly wind screen options and the turn signal doesn't self cancel. It's a keeper and even Harley riders like its looks. Show less
