There is no doubt, when it comes to Street Rockets, The GSX-R Series is Top Dog! I just bought a 600, and I know it's not a 1000 but if you are looking to buy a bike, it would be a wise decision to do your research. If you buy a Gixxer, you won't regret it.

I have only had this bike for a week, but in my experience and from everything I know of Gixxer 750's, it is definitely the best bike on the road. The magazines and other articles are all true. It is the perfect combination of stability, power, handling and overall comfort. It is a bike that gives you everything you could ever ask for in a motorcycle. I haven't done anything to it yet and it came stock with over 16,600 miles already on it and it is awesome! I love this bike!!!! It is still early in the year, though, so I have a lot of riding to do.

I have to say that this bike is really awesome it has the power you need but not too much power. You may notice that 600's will not challenge you on the street unless they don't notice the 750 your on. I raced a Busa ounce and I only stayed one step behind him thats the speed of this... read more

Had this bike about 8 months now... first bike... and let me tell you I love it. I can keep up with 750's and most 1000's! Compared to other bikes on the street, looks/style wise, nobody can compare to this bike. It's fast, sweet, and looks tight. Takes turns like a pro. Not to mention I get tons... read more

This is my very first bike. My friends told me to get an older bike, but I did not listen. I got a good deal on an 04 model vs the 05. I have put on 1400 miles in 6 weeks and there are no regrets. This bike is it.. I have the K4--I love it, My son has the 04 R1, it is a very good bike too. But I would not trade the gixxer in for it. All the 1000's are very good bikes, it's what you want in a bike. The zx10r is fast, the cbr1000rr is very stable, the R1 is fast and also eyecandy.. But the old... read more

I just bought my 2004 GSX-R1000, coming off a 600 and I tell you this thing handles just as good or better. Many said it's too much power or too big, but this beast is oh so graceful/responsive. Yet it can turn into a woman scorned in less than 7 seconds. If this isn't the fastest bike anymore, then overall speed and handling makes it the overall super bike out there in my opinion.

I've ridden for 15 years and have owned/ridden most bikes out there. Believe it or not, this is the first 4-cylinder I've ever owned, so not having compression braking was odd. I only give four stars on performance and comfort because of lack of torque and it's a sport bike, respectively. It is a very agile bike that is telepathic in cornering. Spend the time to adjust suspension to your weight and riding style, it's worth the time. You'll be happy to wear out your free D218's and scoop on some Michelins or Pirelli's. OUTSTANDING rider network out there for information, stories, accessories, etc. This bike is NOT for a beginner, and come to think of it, not many of the 600's are anymore either with how edgy they are. I would recommend this bike to those that want a sportbike for occasional track days and to have fun on the street. Getting a 750 costs less for insurance too with many companies since it's not 1000cc.
