Bought this bike in april of 2009. I put on 5300 km and am loving the bike. This was my first chooper style bike. I like it a lot better than my 1999 gsxr 750 I owned previous to this bike. This bike handles awesome and is a great starter bike. It's a 1400cc and hauls when you hit the throttle....

I bought this brand new. I have 23,000 km (12,000 miles) on it now. I like the simple maintenance required for it. Oil change, replace plugs, clean air filter, change differential fluid and you're off. It is the best looking cruiser on the market. Cornering improved once I changed the tires. I can sit on the motorcycle for hours and I don't get stiff. It feels much lighter than a previous 1500 I had. It is smooth riding between 120 kph to 150 kph (75 mph to 90 mph). It is even smooth at higher speeds if you wish. It will probably top out between 170 kph to 180 kph. While I have heard about start problems, I have had no problems so far. Only a difference in handling once I changed the tire brand.

Bought it used in 06 w/ 1,100 miles. Previous owner installed shotgun pipes, road bars, floorboards, K&N air filter, and power commander. Removed power commander this year and averaging 50 miles per gallon. didn't notice any difference in performance. Like the ride and sound, handles good, and...

Removed power commander this year and averaging 50 miles per gallon. didn't notice any difference in performance. Like the ride and sound, handles good, and would definitely buy another one. My only complaint is seat buttons poke me in the butt if I slide back to feet on highway pegs.

The M95 is an awesome bike, it is the total package. It has the ability to whip around corners and handles like a dream. I am 6ft 2in 287 lbs and the power this bike has is fun and almost scary. I am so glad that I upgraded from the M50 and I am never looking...

Got a great deal on the base C90 Black which is the main reason I bought it--though I have owned more Suzuki's than any other brand. I added most of the accessories at time of purchase (upgraded seat was added later), and it was still cheaper than the C90T. Bike is what I expected for a big cruiser, handles okay and the power is sufficient to get me there and back without worry, whether I'm going up a mountain or out to the coast. Gets good mileage and has been trouble free. The bike does fit me much better now that I've added the upgraded seat. The only real complaint I have is the noise it makes when I let off the gas - sounds like a jet coming in for a landing and of course the dealer said nothing they can do about it. I love the fuel injection, hydraulic clutch and shaft drive - they are great features. I still haven't made up my mind on the air-cooling verse water but in my book anything I don't have to monitor is a plus. When I ride with my full-face helmet I can't easily see the speedo, I have to look down to see it which is a pain. I also wish bike had self-canceling turn signals and accessory power source. My next bike might not be a Suzuki but I don't need to worry about that until I wear this one out and I do believe that'll be awhile!

Well after 2 years on my S83 I think I can give a final review of the bike. This has become a great bike for me. I say become because in stock form there are some things that just have to be changed. The first is the stock seat. Which should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention. Even moderately long rides can turn into total torture on the stock seat with it's plastic waffle textured surface. I replaced it with a saddlemen gel seat and all is good. Also with my height the stock footpeg placement was no good. A set of Jardine forward controls fixed that. The only other thing are the mirrors. Suzuki should have replaced the mirrors when they went to drag bars. The stock ones are only good for looking at your own shoulders. I rigged up a bar end mirror on the left and that is adequate. Also the signals are cheap and plastic looking. Still overall the bike rides and handles great with real excellent power. The brakes are noisy as hell but that makes up for the weak horn. It has all the important stuff and the rest can be fixed. For the money it's been an awesome bike for me. And with a new seat and mufflers and billet mirrors it gets compliments all the time.

Now that I have been riding this for over a year, and have added the light bar, pass floor boards, a bunch more chrome pieces and upgraded to the gel seats, which led me to up the comfort rating from a 4 to a 5. The only thing I have left to do is put on a power commander and some pipes, which I am told will get me about 50 mpg. People still turn their heads when they see me on the bike. Two up riding? Fabulous!!! I think it rides even better with two people on it!

I was worried that this bike might not be appropriate for a fist time rider fresh out of the course. I am ecstatic with the decision to buy the S83. It is reliable, light, fast, handles very well and looks great. Try the V&H pipes and hear it roar. Only drawbacks are that it can be uncomfortable for long trips and top heavy (ie tippy because high center of gravity). All said and done, this is the biggest bang for your buck you can get in a sporty cruiser. Buy one and you will not regret it, even first timers.
