2005 Suzuki GSX-R750 Dual Sport reviews

The GSXR is the most outstanding bike ever made. It has the power, agility, performance, and good looks unmatched by none. It's in a class all it's own. Every time I get on it and ride-it puts a smile on my face. I'm 42 and it's like being a kid in a candy store. I've owned all styles, makes, and models. This bike is flat out the best there is. I am very surprised at the 600. I really wanted a 1000 cause I didn't think the 600 would be enough, boy was I wrong!!! That is a great bike in every way. I'm glad I got the 600!!! Show less

Powerful, comfortable, and very responsive. By far the best riding and handling bike I've owned. I've ridden a CBR 954rr, 600 Hurricane, 600 F4I and they pale in comparison. Corners amazing and doesn't have the un needed rear wheel power of the track ready 1000. Great for street apps. at the same time giving you a track ready feel. Show less

I have had this bike for about 2 years now and since my few upgrades it has been a great bike. 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies on the highway are pretty easy on this bike. It hangs curves very well. Top end after about 170 it accelerates kinda slow though. Stock it ran 10s in the quarter. I haven't been back to the track since the upgrades though. Show less

I just purchased a 06 GSXR 750. Because of my height, I thought I should gone with a 1000 but boy was I wrong. The bike has amazing amounts of power. It screams for more and who am I not to satisfy the craving. Also, I'm really geeking out over the braking. Great first bike! Show less

The bike is amazing. Perfect power to weight ratio. And being that I'm also a track rider, it's important to me how a bike how a bike fairs when going down. Does very well! Valves checked at 13K and were all in spec! Suzuki does a great job making track ready bikes! Show less

This bike is just flat out awesome! Plenty of power and superior handling. I almost brought a ZX-10 until I found my black and yellow gixxer. Bottom line - this bike is the one. I would highly recommend this bike. Show less

I bought my GSXR1000K5 the first week it hit the dealers floor. Furthermore, I have since bought an 06SV650S and more. Out of the box only few mods are needed front: brakes and a little suspension setup. This bike will do anything I ask of it and more. It is so over the head of an average rider it is crazy. A single Track day at Texas World Speedway can turn a fresh set of pilot races into molten lava. With this bike and a good set of race tires you will be dragging everything from your footpegs to the side of your rims. Thus the next mod = rearset!!! Go back to the track and you discover you can push the front end all over the place. The power is just stupid. A VERY steady and tamed hand is required or you will be in for a rearseat removal next service day. You can't go wrong with this bike but please this is not for beginners, it will kill you. I have 25 years of riding under my belt on the street and more. If I had this when I was 20 I would of never seen 21. Good luck, it is not tamable unless your name is Spies. Show less

Absolutely love this bike. It just keeps on getting better. My 1st street bike, and I find it to be very comfortable for a beginner. Handles great, even with a bigger guy like myself. Suzuki did it right when they were thinking design and color. Show less
