This bike is, in my opinion, the best all around dual sport ever made. It is extremely reliable and unbelievably capable for a variety of different riding conditions. In the first year I owned this bike I put 5300 miles on it which consisted of 60/40 road and offroad. Riding in the Northeast is like riding on a stone row as we have lots of rocks that don't move and this bike handles it like candy. On the road it shines as well with plenty of torque to get around in traffic on a daily commute. More aggressive tread is needed for offroad and gearing is a bit high for tight and technical trail riding. If you are looking for a do-everything dual sport, look no further and buy this bike.

This bike is great. I've had it less than a year, and I ride it to work every day, rain or shine. I've already put over 4,000 miles on it, and have only had to change the oil as far as maintenance. One weekend I rode it to Pismo Beach/Oceano dunes from Fresno (170 miles). I rode right from the...

One weekend I rode it to Pismo Beach/Oceano dunes from Fresno (170 miles). I rode right from the road, onto the beach, and into the back of the dunes, NOT ONE CHANGE!

This is the first bike I've ever owned and I could not be happier. I haven't touched a thing on the bike since I bought it a month ago. It's everything a Dual Sport is supposed to be. Good responsiveness, easy to operate, works great on or off road. I need knobbies and the gel seat. The stock...

This is the first bike I've ever owned and I could not be happier. I haven't touched a thing on the bike since I bought it a month ago. It's everything a Dual Sport is supposed to be. Good responsiveness, easy to operate, works great on or off road. I need knobbies and the gel seat. The stock seat is painful and the stock street tires are not great off-road, but lots of sandy spots out here. I also need to lower the suspension, but I've been pleasantly surprised at the stock set-up. I'm using it mostly as a commuter bike with some fun on the way home off-road and whenever I can on the weekends. For a newbie with motorcycles, I couldn't have asked for better. It is a great bike.

I am totally confident that my 06 DRZ 400S will take me any where I want to go for as long as I want to go..any time I want to go. After a Jet kit and replacing the stock tires with some DOT knobbies, it is like a different bike off road. On road or off the bike is a total blast. Dependability is # 1 in my book and this bike takes the prize. 6k miles my first year and not one problem with the bike. I also own an 06 DRZ 400SM, Same great bike!.......Let's RIDE!

First I bought a 06 DRZ 400S that I love. A friend was selling his 06 DRZ 400SM with 4000 miles on it so I bought it. I am so impressed with the bike. The bike(s) are so dependable and with 11,600 miles between them in one year I have had no break downs.

I have a K6 DRZ 250. At 210 lb, I found it necessary to change the front sprocket back a tooth as the lower gears were not all that usuable, thus needing to be ridden in 1st and second a lot, as the subsequent gears were a bit tall for hill climbing. 6th gear is still a bit of a waste. Before...

Before changing the drive sprocket, boat pulls about 135 km/h. This is my first trailbike I have owned and not sure if that's quick. I think the best thing I did was remove the original tires and fit some good brigstone knobbys with rim locks. These are a must (found out the hard way). Suspension needs a tweak as a bigger rider as bike tends to bottom out a bit. I chose the Suzi over a number of other brands due to renowned reliability and lower seat height. Bike has had a persistent carby problem from new, refuses to idle, and idles erratically. I believe this is isolated, local dealer is working on it. You don't need a loud bike to have a good day. The Suzi is quiet and pretty comfortable to settle in and ride for the day. It pulls well with smaller riders on it in std form but, if you enjoy a good meal, change the sprocket.

Anyone who has ridden one of these on the street will know what I'm talking about. I come from a motocross/enduro background and this bike will not disappoint you. I have taken it on 70 mile enduro trail rides keeping up with a Raptor 700 quad and passing was no problem. I rip up city streets on it and my superbike friends look good in the square mirrors; just stay away from long straight aways. I sold my FZR600 to get a supermoto so the stock set up was a little lacking. But once I put exhaust and a new carb on, it really woke up. So, if you are looking to buy one plan on about a grand in upgrades and your bike will rip. Top speed a little over 100 mph. Good luck keeping the front tire on the ground.

Well, the Suzuki RMZ is one amazing bike that has tons of torque. What I mean when I say it has tons of torque is that it has tons in every gear! If you acccelerate pretty good, you'll be kicking up dirt across the yard. It is extremely fast and accelerates like a monster and is very loud. It can be heard over a half mile away! The cops stopped me the first day I rode it on the road but they let me go. Most power is low to mid range and is overall a blast to ride and is way faster than any two stoke out there, trust me, I've raced them.
