Bought the bike new in late March 2002. Rode it once stock .A KTM 65 PRO would kick it's ass.Did the free mods. Then a few extras and it'll stomp a KTM 125 in top end . Maybe even a CR 500 in top speed. Depends on the gearing . A wr 250 is geared stock for 85 MPH. Oh yeah , how long the straightaway is helps the WR. (The longer the better). It's a good bike if you don't mind doing a few easy tweaks ,and a racing pipe with a quite muffler. Master the starting and have a blast!
