It is a very good bike overall. VERY cold blooded, long warm up time. Starts after about three trys with electric starter, ten seconds, fifteen seconds and finally fires. She has run it on some back trails in TN and on the roads in Ohio. Good learner bike. Dad has GPS confirmed 63 mph (lay down on seat, less wind resistance) had it wrapped pretty tight. Change oil often, Glad I bought it.

The bike, overall, is pretty good. Right out of the shop it needs a few things. A BBR chain guide, a FMF powercore 4 exhaust system, BBR stiffer fork springs, and a K&N air filter. I thought that learning to ride was going be a long and hard process, but on this bike it only took me about 3 days to use the clutch and to be able to shift with some confidence. This bike is a blast to ride. All I had to do was crank up the preload for my height and weight, and I was out tearing up trails in days. Excellent bike Yamaha!!

I just purchased this for my wive for an early mother's day gift. She is 5'4" maybe 125. She'd claim less though (LOL) anyhow this an excellent bike . It's extremely plush. Push button start, awesome & effortless. Extremely quiet especially at idle. Only drove around yard today for break-in. I'm very suprised by the tourge right from the bottom and predictable throttle response. Well that's my first impression. I'll write another review when it finally gets really ridden. I'll talk about the brakes, clutch, tranny, handling, comfort and suspenion.

This bike is great. It has plenty of power when I am riding through the rough trails of Colorado. I have lost the bike before as it climbs anything it's nearing. Has great torque and is well built. This is my first clutch bike and so far it has been more then great. It's a hell of a... read more
