I BOUGHT THE BIKE ON CONSIGNMENT WHICH I WAS KINDA HESITANT ABOUT. BUT AFTER I GOT ON IT I KNEW THAT IT WAS A GOOD BIKE. THE PEVIOUS OWNER DID A LOT OF THINGS THAT I WANTED TO DO SO THANKFULLY IT WAS ALREADY DONE. I HAVE PUT A THOUSAND MILES ON IT SO FAR AND I AM WAITING FOR THE SNOW, ICE, AND COLD WEATHER TO DISAPPEAR SO I CAN RIDE AGAIN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BIKE OVER MOST ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN HANDLE A BIGGER BIKE OR A BIGGER PERSON THAN THE NORM..

Out of all the bikes I have had (11 total) in 42 years of riding, this is the most awesome machine made. I have friends that ride Harley & Victory and they all say it is much better than theirs. This bike drives itself and make trips a pure joy. I love this machine!

Like so many others, this is the second bike I've owned in over 23 years. The first was a V-Star 1100 cc. After a week, the comfort of riding all came back. At that point I realized the 1100 was too small. Great bike but smaller. Thirteen days later I traded for the Road Star Midnight Silverado @ 108 cu. inch. What a great choice. My wife and I are average size and with the stability of the Road Star, my choice was excellent. I compared by test riding a new Road King then a Road Star. Hands down and a no brainer. I now own the Road Star. Now 3500 miles later, and after my wife and I riding 1480 miles through canyon carvers on a Blue Ridge Parkway trip, I am even more pleased with my decision. Feel free to e-mail me and I would be happy to discuss further in a phone conversation.

I originally purchased my Road Star in Brenham Texas. These guys were great. So far, I put 15,000 miles on my Road Star in 1 year; it has only had oil changes and the typical regular maintenance. It runs perfect. Now that I moved to Illinois, I go to the local dealership, these Yankee boys are also fine gentlemen at the shop. Great stuff

I purchase my new 2005 Road Star after some real hard decision making because it was between the Yamaha Road Star and the 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King. I test drove both and the clear winner was the Road Star. It was half the price, more comfortable to ride, had quicker response and handled well in the turns. I have owned three Yamaha motorcycles in my time and they just keep getting better. Yamaha, keep up the good work!
