We enjoy everything from the electric cruise control, sound system, comfortable seats and ride. I have been riding since getting out of the Army in 72, from Triumphs to Hondas. Traded in an Aero and it was great. Smooth as the Mrs, but handles like a dream. Recommend this bike to anyone planning of alot of traveling. WIth 5 year warranty with unlimited mileage you can not go wrong.

I hate to burst all those bubbles out there, but this has got to be the scariest bike that I have ridden in thirty years of riding motorcycles. The looks are great, no problem with that, the bike handles terribly with a load in the trunk and saddlebags, the recommended load, with or without a passenger. The handling just goes away, the best description that I heard was, "hinky" this was from Motorcycle Cruiser magazine. With a load or two-up the bike pushes and jumps at every turn and bump in the road. I have had the dealer check it to no avail, I have played with the shocks and different loads all with same results. My wife and I just recently completed a 3200-mile harrowing and nerve wracking trip on this machine where at one point this "wonderful machine" almost dumped us over an embankment. A lesser rider would have been injured or worse, and I have to say that the first person that meets my price can have this bike, #145 of 1500.

My wife finds the throne so comfortable for long rides that we're always looking for new roads to venture down. This is the most complete package that you can buy at a painless price. The response and handling out do anything I had hoped. Needless to say I find the 7000-plus miles we've put on, are the most comfortable miles I put on any bike in twenty-plus years I've been riding.

Bought a Yamaha Royal Star Venture Millenium Model Limited #13 or 1500 in the second week of March. I now have almost 5000 miles and this bike really suits me. The bike's looks and style will appeal to any reformed cruiser rider looking for long haul comfort. While the bike is not a speed demon, it will allow you to pass and accelerate briskly and will still have power to spare. My wife loves the passenger accommodations and the stock seat is actually very comfortable. The bike draws positive attention and folks really love the retro dashboard. There are a couple of "must have" add ons which include KuryAkn ISO pegs (highway pegs) and a matching Utopia driver's backrest. This bike will get you there and when you get off you will feel at least as good as if you had taken the car!

Just purchased the mm2000 Yamaha Venture, and rode it home over 300 miles yesterday, what a thrill! My last two bikes were Kawasakis, the last being the Nomad. This Venture is something special, and what a handler, smooth but still with a feel of the ride, and shaft drive, which is something I can't do without. If that other bike maker would make a shaft, they might convert me, but not if they can't make it as smooth as this beauty! And what a pretty bike to go with the functionality and the power of this engine! I've been waiting for a bike like this!
