this is the perfect size for a cruise in the mountains or a ride up the coast. Good gas milage (about 55mpg depending on the rider) . Easily rides two comfortably. Great bike all around... for beginners, women, seasoned riders. I've been riding since 1967 and this is the BEST ALL AROUND bike I've owned. I love the body style, looking like older bikes and the custom paint is a head turner. Show less

Yes I've not owned long but could be the best value per dollar except the Norton I bought for 500 dollars and sold for 1000, it will cruise comfortable on the interstate at 70 or instill confidence in the twisties, maint cost very low reliable won't leave you stranded, love the bike my 25th 50 years of riding. This was my fifth bike - I bought this bike used with only 5,000 miles. I have had no major repairs and I've taken road trips yearly. This bike is great in city commuting as well as at home on the open road. I love the balance and the power-to-weight combination. So now with 37,000 miles, I'm looking to finally trade up to a "used 2008 VTX1800" and my son will enjoy my old and still very clean VT1100. Show less

I have owned a couple of other bikes and was actually in search of a Harley but found the prices to be too high. I found this bike and it was in great shape with a couple of add ons. The price was fair and the bike has turned out to be excellent. It sounds great with the Vance & Hines pipes and rides well. I'm very pleased with the Honda line. Show less

I have a 2003 black and grey Shadow 750 deluxe. This bike has good power, sharp lines and beautiful chrome everywhere. Honda Shadows are exceptional bikes, very reliable and real head turners. People mistake them for Harleys. I would buy a Shadow again. It is too bad that Honda stopped making the Ace. I am sure that they would still have the following that they had before. Show less

Bought this bike new and loved it since then. I usually don't ride long distance and low miles speak for themselves. But whenever I get a chance I ride this bike at least 80 to 120 miles in one leg. Bike is very good looking, comfortable, easy to maintain and easy to handle in any road conditions. Highly recommended. Show less

I have owned my bike for 3 years now it sat for a year without being rode hardly at all due to job. I have put almost 6000 miles on it this summer alone. I really enjoy my bike it is a great bike to use for back and forth to work. Yet it is big enough to run with the big bikes. Only bad thing is hard to find aftermarket parts for this bike. If you get a VT750DCB that is check the last letter for parts. Show less

This is my first bike after not having one for the last 25 years. I bought this bike from the original owner with 3200 miles. I ride daily to work when the weather cooperates and I've racked up 1100 miles in 2 months. I think this bike is beautiful, my only wish for this bike is a 6th gear of overdrive. It's a bit buzzy at highway speeds. Show less
