I am the first and only owner of this Honda CB 350. It has been fun bike to ride. I have enjoyed many trouble-free miles. I have had no problems. It has never been laid down and has had no crashes of any kind. It has always been garage kept and covered. It has not been ridden and properly stored for 14 years as I am unable to ride anymore. The engine still turns over. It will need new tires and possibly some other work in order to pass state inspection.
Clean Pennsylvania Title and current registration.

this is the perfect size for a cruise in the mountains or a ride up the coast. Good gas milage (about 55mpg depending on the rider) . Easily rides two comfortably. Great bike all around... for beginners, women, seasoned riders. I've been riding since 1967 and this is the BEST ALL AROUND bike...

I love the body style, looking like older bikes and the custom paint is a head turner.

I’ve had my 2014 Honda CB1100 for a while now, and it’s been a solid, dependable ride. What drew me to this bike in the first place was its blend of classic styling with just enough modern touches. It’s got that vintage look but doesn’t make you feel like you’re sacrificing performance or reliability.
Speaking of reliability, this bike has never left me stranded. I’ve kept up with regular maintenance, replaced the battery, and recently put on new tires, and it’s been running smoothly without any hiccups. The engine crash cage I installed also gives me that extra bit of confidence when I’m out on the road.
When it comes to quality, Honda did a good job with the overall build. The bike feels sturdy and well-made. However, I’ll admit the stock seat wasn’t the most comfortable for long rides. After a few trips where I found myself squirming after a couple of hours, I swapped it out for a Corbin seat, which made a world of difference. If you’re planning on doing some serious riding, that’s one upgrade I’d highly recommend.
Performance-wise, the CB1100 is just what I was looking for. It’s not a high-speed monster, but it’s got plenty of power for city rides and handles itself well on the highway. It’s a versatile bike that can do a bit of everything, which is exactly what I needed. Great for starters and enthusiasts.
Comfort-wise, it’s pretty good overall, especially with the new seat. The upright riding position is comfortable, but again, if you’re doing long-distance rides, you might want to make a few tweaks here and there to suit your needs. Not having cruise control options could make long-distance traveling slightly less enjoyable.
All in all, I’d recommend the 2014 Honda CB1100 to anyone looking for a bike that’s reliable, versatile, and easy to maintain. It’s not going to blow you away with raw power, but it’s got that classic charm and solid performance that makes it a joy to ride.

This bike has been a reliable toy for 21 years. It's given me the ride, the play, the outdoors, the get-away-from-it-all that I bought it for. Bought it when I was 47. Haven't had time to ride much in the past few years so it's time to pass it on. It's a lot of bike and a lot of accessories for the price. Perfect for newer riders or smaller riders and women who don't want a big, heavy bike. New bikes are too expensive for people starting to ride.
I would rate Comfort at 4 stars and the rest of the metrics above at 5.

It is also set up for a battery charger. No test rides without cash.

I actually wanted the 2023 Honda Shadow Phantom in Adventure Green, but couldn't find one close enough to where I live. I found the Phantom in Matte Black, thought maybe I'd just paint it, but...the Shadow Aero, which looked incredibly ugly in photos, looked surprisingly good in real life, with striking blue and cream paint. I sat on both bikes, but I fit better on the Shadow Aero, as it has a higher seat height than the Phantom. And I bought the Shadow Aero.
The Shadow Aero is a very different ride from my 2006 Honda VTX 1300C, which I'm glad I didn't trade in. Of course, the Shadow Aero, which is half the size of the VTX, doesn't have massive reserves of power, but if you give it a chance, you'll find that it has power enough, and you'll get over 50 miles per gallon, which is sweet. The Shadow Aero is fuel injected, the VTX is carburated, so the Shadow Aero rolls on the power less suddenly than the VTX, but it certainly has enough get up and go for a speedy takeoff or for passing. And it's a showy bike. I call it my mini-cruiser. It gets lots of compliments; even people who aren't motorcyclists find the whole look of the Shadow Aero very pleasing.
The one problem I've found is the seat. Although it is a nice-looking design, riding on it is truly a pain in the butt. After an hour of riding, my tailbone is so sore that I have difficulty moving my legs off the footpegs onto the ground. Excruciatingly painful. Bear in mind that I bought my VTX used with a Corbin seat, which isn't a problem even on all-day rides, so I know there are more comfortable seats available. Maybe the original seat on the VTX was as much of a PITA as the one on the Shadow Aero; I dunno.
This is just my second week with the Shadow Aero, and the uncomfortable seat is the only really vexing problem I've found. My solution will be to remove the seat cover and place a combination of memory foam and gel that feels better to me, then I'll refit the original seat cover onto my 'improved comfort' seat. There seems to be plenty of room between the rigid foam and the cover, so I think that will work.
Increasing the seat height a bit will be fine for me; the Shadow Aero has a much lower seat height than my VTX 1300C, and I'm quite comfortable on the VTX; I just ride in a bit of a different style on the Shadow Aero---I call it riding 'small' (although I must admit that on my first couple of miles on the Shadow Aero, before I figured out how to adjust myself to the bike, I felt a bit like a Shriner, riding on a motorcycle that seemed very tiny compared to the size of the VTX !)
I really don't want to spend $700 to $1000 on an aftermarket seat, especially when considering that the base price for the Shadow Aero is less than $8000. Adding padding to the original seat seems a much more reasonable solution.
When I've resolved the seat problem, I'll be very happy with my 2023 Honda Shadow Aero.
