Goldwing F6B Having ridden nothing but Honda Valkyries for the past 20 years, when it came time to upgrade, I decided to stick with something familiar. The Honda Goldwing F6B is a close relative of the Valkyrie. Bigger engine, more buttons and stuff. First impression was that it was very very wide. Felt like I was tippy-toeing because I was doing the splits to get on the seat. Also, the riding position felt more like what I imagine a scooter feels like, rather than a motorcycle. I was also discombobulated that I couldn't see the road, where the front tire is. All of that was an adjustment. I didn't really like it either. What I DID like is that once I got it going it was even more nimble than my Valkyrie, even though it had more fairings and bigger engine! The power came in more of a straight line. I finally learned what most of the buttons do. Never thought I'd ever care about speakers, but I've really enjoyed having them. The bike is comfortable, smooth, fast, nimble, fat, and has so much storage. I took a trip from Houston to St. Pete's beach in Florida for a week-long business conference. Stopped by Daytona bike week on my way down through Tampa (only 4 hours out of the way or so). I had space enough for all my business clothes, casual clothes, helmet, gloves, and jacket, plus souvenirs from bike week and St Pete's beach!! I just can't get over how much Crap I can carry with me. Extra ammo, dry food, spare water, charger, air compressor, clothes, first air kit, a whole mess of tools, etc. etc. etc. I'm telling you it's crazy how much you can fit in the saddle bags. I also bought a 41L top box for the trip, I've never had the ability to bring stuff I was almost sure I wouldn't need on a motorcycle trip! haha! Changing the air filter is truly insane. Honda has engineered the entire bike around the air filter to protect it in case of any crash. you must remove everything on the bike to access the air filter. Honda. c'mon. that's demonic. Unlimited power, great cornering, big gas tank, super comfortable for short or long ride. No vibration, great control on a strait away or sharp turns. No repairs, just chang tires and oil when needed and maintenance free Show less

Have owned 7 motorcycles and bought the Gold Wing used for long distance touring. Changed out the suspension to a Traxxion Dynamics that made this motorcycle handle and perform so much better. The Gold Wing is the King of Kings touring ride. While it looks like an aircraft carrier it handles like a sport bike to a very center of gravity. Towed a camper with my Gold Wing 8,000 miles in 5 weeks and it performed flawlessly. If well maintained you can get about 300,000 miles on an engine. Bulletproof bike! Show less

I purchased this can am on Friday. It's a beautiful machine. The dealership was terrific to work with. I drove it and it handled amazingly. They had a minor repair to replace a switch so had to leave it there until the repair is complete. They won't release a used vehicle until it is 100%. Show less

We rode this bike from Michigan to Key West, and from Michigan to Sturgis, SD. We had no problems whatsoever, while my four Harley brothers each had at least one mechanical issue. This bike has been dealership maintained, and is in excellent condition. Less than 23,000 miles. Show less

Originally purchased this motorcycle for the reliability and comfort that Goldwing is known for. This bike did not disappoint. It is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever owned. Full wind screen, 4-speaker AM/FM/CB/Ipod sound system, heated grips/seats, and ability to blow warm air on your feet make it the best 3-season bike available ~ Comfortable to for days. Although it is a large 1800cc motorcycle it is very well balanced and handles superbly. Best luxury touring motorcycle you can buy. Hands down! She's not cheap but you won't regret it. Guaranteed! Only front suspension could be better but Progressive or Traxxion will solve the problem. Also front fork brace is highly recommended. Show less

Good reliable motorcycle. Last 300,00 miles. They are carbureted so they need tune ups. They are quick on take off and are fairly quiet . They have cab radios and am/ fm cassette players . The SE comes with air shocks and an on board compressor. It also has reverse. Show less
