Bought it two years ago with 1000 miles from a major dealer in Covina California. I am going to downsize. I also own a 900 Kawasaki and a 2006 Harley-Davidson. This 1800 Honda Goldwing is the fastest and most solid motorcycle I have ever owned but it is a big bike. Even bigger than my Harley. Selling at a low price simple to downsize. Amazing bike. Been on many long trips together. Plenty of room for camping equipment. Smooth fast controlled. Comfortable for many miles. Longest one day trip Was over 900 miles with no issues at all. Show less

This is the 2nd GL1800 I've owned and sadly my last due only to age (for me, not the bike). Easily the best all-around bike I've ever owned, and definitely the king of long-haul comfort. Likes include a level of equipment and capabilities that still lead the pack compared to many later model touring bikes. Comfortable as an armchair and with addition of air wings, equally as quiet and comfortable for the passenger. With heated seats and grips, plus an adjustable hot air redirect to the feet, this is as comfortable as Winter riding gets. Dislikes are few: obviously, the wired intercom and sound system is dated nowadays and spare parts and cables are getting tougher to find. While the bike is very agile, even at low speeds, it still weighs close to 1,000 pounds fully loaded, and you'll feel every bit of that if it tilts over too far at slow speeds. I'm not going to deduct stars for this - heck, it's a 1.8L bike! If I was 10 years younger, and urban riding hadn't become so crazy where I live, I'd never sell - this is the only bike I've ever owned where I have never, not once, felt envy at the sight of another bike, other than the latest model Gold Wing. This is a great motorcycle. I've had it a couple years. It's like a new bike. The owners manual and tools are still in the sidebar. Even the trailer manual is there. The new tires haven't been broke in yet. Nothing is wrong with the bike. It turns heads everywhere I've been. Show less

This model motorcycle from Honda is one of the best riding motorcycles I have riden. I owned this bike for 6-7 years and loved every long ride we took. It is more comfortable than the Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic I had before, and way outperforms it. The engine is very responsive and has a lot of power. The low center of gravity makes it very stable even at slow speeds, so its even easier to ride than the Harley. I have nothing but compliments to Honda on their design of this great motorcycle. I owned this bike for about five years. I've ridden many bikes over the years and the NC700 is undoubtedly one of the most comfortable and enjoyable bikes in the Commuter/Sport-Touring segment. The bike has a very low center of gravity. Combined with the smooth automatic transmission it handles everything with ease. I didn't do any off-roading, however the bike simply needs some dual-sport tires and a skid plate to be an adventure ready machine. Maintenance is also very easy and infrequent besides keeping the chain properly lubed. Recently upgraded from the 2013 to a 2022...... same great bike with a few modern enhancements. Show less

I am 71 years old with a bad knee from a previous collision with a drunk driver, I'm looking for a bike as my final bike to carry me to the point I can no longer ride, I've owned 35 different bikes in the last 55 years all brands and types, there are advantages and disadvantaged to cruiser sitting position but the bike is fairly comfortable, there's another bike I'm looking at the NT700 but I think the ACE is the one it's lighter than a Harley has plenty of power I've run this thing to 110 mph most evo Harleys won't do that, plenty of luggage space, it handles great and is STABLE in turns like it's on rails, if you like rumbling exhaust of a 45 degree twin you might be disappointed because it's quiet, other than that I love this bike it's bullet proof, reliable old school no gas gauge,, those that say it needs more power I disagree plenty of power love the bike. This is our first trike and we are hooked. We are ready for a newer model, with less miles, and a warranty package. We hate to sell Belle, but it is time. There is nothing wrong with her except for a burned out a light bulb. I am disabled and not able to fix it. Show less

Had a Honda 550 decades ago and enjoyed riding it. Any bike with over 100k miles needs to be reduced significantly. I would rather buy a bike with moderate mileage of the same year than a same year bike with very low miles. These things aren't made to sit around and not be driven. Don't be fooled by low mialeage.
