I’ve owned multiple Harley’s over the years and this has been my favorite by FAR. This bike is a torque MONSTER! The Dyna is a smaller framed Harley and with this particular motor the front end WILL come off the ground if you gas it hard. I’m 6’-2” and roughly 225 pounds and sit comfortably on this bike. Over long distances it’s clearly not the best for my build but for just riding all day with the “group” it was perfect. I love this bike but I never get the chance to ride anymore living out of state for work. I ride when I’m home, but not nearly enough. It breaks my heart seeing it sit so I’ve chosen to part ways with my black beauty.

Having owned motorcycles since 1973, The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider seems to be my favorite. It's fun to ride. Thr large easy starting fuel injected engine hasn't ever let me down. I didn't want to say that because I don't want to get jinxed. Anyway, from the comfort, smooth ride, and strong engine remains the top three attributes that come to mind. This beautiful motorcycle has been garage kept. Serviced and maintained regularly is very important to me. The appearance and functionality aspects are very similar to a new Harley despite the 16,500 miles It's traveled. As far as dependably, I would trust it today to travel anywhere in the 48 states. I have chosen to keep this Harley as stock as possible. The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low is like it came brand new from the dealership except for the 16,500 miles she's been driven by only conservative adult riders. As father time is catching up to me, I've decided to allow a younger person take over the controls to enjoy what I have been blessed with. If you are someone you know is interested in a great bike at less than half price of a new one, have them look me up here or on Facebook.

A 5 gal. tank would be better as gas consumption is high. But, what do you expect with a 1450cc motor! Chrome everywhere. Which is time consuming. But looks great when you get it shined up. An all around great bike. With ONE exception. It needs forward control's. It would be SO much more comfortable on longer rides. Other than that, you can't beat it! It'll do what you want every time! Mine has NEVER left me stranded after 4 year's of hard riding. Like anything else, you have to preform your maintenance every time! If you treat this dog well. You'll have a friend you can count on every time! It'll never let you down!

I normally ride 2-500 miles on the weekends and some months 2200 miles. This winter has been too wet though to ride much. Great on the open road with sundowner seat, bags, sheild, engine guard, back rack with chaps and adjustable forward foot rest. Plenty of power for two up riding and luggage. All around great bike.

I purchased a 2005 Lowrider in Feb of 09. Today was the first day I rode it. Picked it up from the dealer after winter storage and this day could not come fast enough. I was coming off of a Honda Shadow VLX 600 and that was a great bike to get back into the saddle with after a 10 year hiatus. I soon realized that I was going to need a bigger machine. I looked at the Sportster 1200 as well as the Lowrider. I went to buy a Sportster and it sold before I got to the dealer, and BOY am I glad I fell onto the Lowrider. I was a little intimidated with the lowrider at first but after 5 minutes of riding, it was like I had owned it all along. I can't get over how SMOOTH this bike rides. She has a nice low center of gravity, making it easy to handle especially in the corners. She takes the bumps like they are nothing, and wind resistance, wow she trucks right along. VERY VERY VERY Stable machine. The Fuel injection is great, she starts right up no problem. The stock seat for me is comfortable, then again I am not very tall so that probably has a lot to do with it. I have no problem flat footing the bike at all, the seat height is perfect. If you are a smaller rider, male or female, this would make the perfect bike. The only two complaints I have is, 1: The Mid controls take a little getting use to. 2: The Initial price to get into this machine is higher than it should be. If you have experience riding and are contemplating a Sportster, do yourself a favor and move into the Dyna series if you can afford to. You don't have to buy new. You will be happy you did, trust me!!! My final words, this is a top Notch, quality built, stable Smooooth Ride!

The Low Rider came in a few days ago and I already put 500 miles on her. What a blast she is to ride! She doesn't compare to my Road King in looks, smoothness, comfort or power but she sure is a blast to ride! The power to weight ratio is the best and she is very comfortable and maneuverable... what fun! Hats off to my wife for spoiling me with two awesome bikes! Thanks Florence, you're the best, my honey!

I haven't owned a motorcycle in 30 years, so even though I was anxious to get back to it, I took my time in making a decision. After much test riding and reviewing, I choose the Dyna Low Rider. This bike is smooth, great handling and quick. I use the Low Rider to commute every day in high speed and stop-n-go traffic. My one complaint is the stock seat. It is uncomfortable after the 1st hour, so I intend to replace the seat. Overall, the Low Ride is a great choice for a mid-range cruiser.

Quick and dirty here. This was my first bike (that I owned). I used to ride a Softail Deluxe in Japan (Marine). This bike handles beautifully. It is gorgeous to look at, gets great gas mileage (I was getting closer to 60mph), and is just a thrill to ride. The only complaint I had and I'm not sure if it is a height issue though I had no problem on the Softail, is that the seat is not very comfortable at all. Not for me, not for my girl. It just seemed very awkward for me to sit in it and hard also my girl complained that it was like sitting on a vibrating brick. I have instead installed the SunDown seat and it looks great and feels comfortable as hell now. Also one point of interest is that it is pretty quiet for a Harley. But that is actually a good point for me as I have customized it with the 2 wheel tunes and have a PSP mount for music videos/mp3s to jam while I'm riding. All in all very happy with this awesome bike. Very RAW and just looks like what a Harley should be. Classic Harley Icon here.
