I am not the original owner but this bike has gorgeous paint, runs like a champion and accelerates on the freeway effortlessly. Mileage/fuel consumption is 42 mpg checked on a 200 mile trip to Daytona 'BiketOberfest' this year 2022. Rides and maneuvers easily. I am proud to own this one and love riding it daily. I have 2 other bikes and this one usually gets the nod when I am going anywhere. The original seat if firm and I have a hard butt so for myself it is comfortable. No issues that I can say would stop me from getting another one if I was in the market. Show less

I bought the bike in 2010 used. It had low miles. I've ridden it very hard. It's been perfectly dependable. The rear tire and brake pads wear very fast but that's not the bikes fault. The only time it's ever thought about over heating was when it was used as a dirt bike. Average gas mileage varies from 29-47 mpg. Top speed is around 115 mph. Max cruising speed is around 90 and the best speed is 70. For a long 700 lb. motorcycle, it has good low speed manners. It's very stable and forgiving. Let out on the clutch and she moves forward. After deploying to Iraq, I was determined to reward myself by finally learning how to ride a motorcycle. (Not an easy thing for a guy over 40 years old.) I took the course (passing the second time) and went to a Harley Davidson dealer in Fairfax, Virginia. While I loved the style of the Road King, Fat Boy, and Softail, the massive size of those models to a first-time rider were daunting. I chose to purchase a Dyna Super Glide, which would serve as a nice commuting vehicle and give me a comfortable option to cross state lines while touring. The stock seat leaves a little to be desired for rides over two hours long. Otherwise, I am delighted with it. It has a managable weight, great acceleration and response and it's affordable enough that I could spend more money for custom parts and paint. Being a year-round rider, my first riding experience has been ongoing for a year and a half and I haven't looked back. (Just checked over the shoulders while changing lanes.) Thank you, HD! This is my fourth Harley, one softail and two touring models and this is the happiest I have been on a Harley. I added the touring windshield and a Sundowner dual seat for comfort and a Stage 1 A/C for performance and feel that is enough money spent on it. It handles better than any other Harley I have had in the twisties, and with a set of throw over bags, is good for a weekend tour. I really believe, as a bike that you can eadily mod to make it your own. This Dyna is the best model Harley produces. Show less

This Harley has all you need to handle. I added some 8" Ape hangers, black diamond cables and numerous Willie "G" accesories. I put on a set of Harley-Davidson magnesium and black 5-spoke wheels, a wide Harley seat for added comfort and chrome accessories. Show less

I started riding Harleys in 1970. I began with a Harley Sprint 250! I have nothing but good to say about this bike. Too bad they dropped it from the line but it will be back. The bike is legendary. The ride is great. I have a Stage 1 with Vance and Hines Straight Shot pipes and Hi Air Flo intake. The bike can do 0 to 60 mph. in under six seconds. No need for more power!. I would advise as others do to put on a Sundowner seat and progressive suspension to compensate for somewhat harsh rear suspension if you are over 180 lbs. I would never regret buying this bike!!! I looked at Harley and Victory, liked several, but didn't fall in love until I rode the Super Glide. I cannot get enough of this bike. This is my 14th bike and the best yet. Take the price out and it is still the best. I was going to spend a lot more for less. What a wonderful surprise. Be surprised, ride a Super Glide before you buy. Show less

I have had this bike for over 2 years. I got it used with 30000 miles on the clock. Now it's got 75000 miles on the clock. Fast, hard and real. As soon as Harley starts remaking them, I'll get a new one. Show less
