I’ve been riding my 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide for a while now, and it continues to impress me every time I take it out. The bike has the perfect mix of long-haul comfort, classic Harley styling, and the kind of power that makes highway cruising effortless.
Reliability:
This bike has been rock-solid. I’ve never had an issue starting it, even after sitting for a bit. Regular maintenance keeps it running smooth, and I feel confident taking it on long trips without worrying about breakdowns. It feels like a machine built to last.
Quality:
The fit and finish are exactly what you expect from Harley. The Sharknose fairing is not only sharp-looking but also functional, cutting down on wind buffeting a lot better than older models. The LED Daymaker headlights are a huge upgrade at night. Paint, chrome, and overall build quality hold up really well.
Performance:
The Twin Cam 103 engine has plenty of torque for passing or climbing hills without breaking a sweat. It pulls strong down low, and on the highway it just eats up the miles. Handling is surprisingly good for a bike this size — the frame-mounted fairing makes it feel more planted in the turns compared to other touring Harleys. Brakes (especially with ABS) are confidence-inspiring. It’s not a sport bike, but for what it is, the performance is spot-on.
Comfort:
This is where the Road Glide really shines. The seating position, handlebar placement, and fairing design make long rides much easier on the body. Wind management is excellent — I can ride for hours without feeling beat up. The saddlebags are easy to use and hold a good amount of gear. My only small complaint is the rear suspension travel: it’s a bit limited, so rough roads can feel harsh. I upgraded the seat to the sundowner, a worthwhile investment if you plan on riding two-up a lot. I still have the factory seat for those solo rides.
Overall impression:
The 2015 Road Glide is a fantastic bike for riders who want a reliable, comfortable touring machine with classic Harley character. It’s heavy at low speeds, so beginners might find it intimidating, but once you’re rolling it feels incredibly stable and smooth. I’d absolutely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a dependable long-distance cruiser that still turns heads wherever you go.

I have owned Indian Roadmasters, Challenger, Dark Horse and Pursuit. I have also owned Honda Goldwings. Several Harley models which have included Road King, Road Glide Limited and Electra Glide. I have reached the peak of my golden years at age 80 and still continue to ride a Harley 2025 Street Glide. In my opinion, Harley hit it out of the ballpark with this model. Fantastic bike with the 117 engine. Perfect weight distribution and balance and a monster on the highway. Best bike I've ever owned.

Owner - My 2016 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited is a well-equipped and comfortable touring motorcycle that's well-suited for long-distance riding. It's combination of power, storage, and technology makes it a popular choice among touring enthusiasts. As a member of the IBA this bike fit the bill and proved itself as "highly reliable" time and time again as I completed a number of long distance certification rides in the saddle aboard this machine. Opportunity is knocking for anyone ready for an upgrade or that is ready to move up in class. A quality one owner machine with a clean bill of health and clear title of ownership priced to sell quickly.

I'm writing as a passenger, which is maybe unusual. My husband and I have made several cross country trips from Wisconsin, mostly to Texas and Wyoming. The passenger seat on our 1995 Ultra Classic Electra Glide 30th Anniversary Edition is so comfortable, it's hard to do it justice here. I had back problems and pain in my legs, and on our first trip, I was worried about going on such a long ride on a motorcycle. But when we got to our destination, my aches and pains were gone. Maybe the steady vibration helped, but I couldn't believe the passenger seat was so soft and relaxing. My husband kept remarking how well it handled with two people, and it certainly felt like a smooth and effortless ride. I was only nervous when he took us on the Beartooth Pass going out of Yellowstone. When I peered over the edge of the mountain road (with no guardrails!) and saw the switchbacks a thousand feet below, it made me want to clutch the armrests, close my eyes, and sink into my seat. But we were in our sixties then, young and adventurous. If you're a passenger, I can't imagine a better motorcycle than one like this.
