If a Harley is the bike for your riding style, don't pass on this one. Ask the sales team about the upgrades like new Axtel cylinders pistons, cams, rods, ThunderMax ECM auto tuner, Rinehart's true duals, floating rotors, Lindal pads all the way around Custom painted hard bags. The list goes on and on. Check it out and good luck on the best looking Custom Cobalt Blue Screamin' Eagle Road King out there.

I was lucky enough to stop in at my local dealership in late July to find that a new Screamin' Eagle Road King was going to be arriving by the end of August. I gave them a deposit to hold it for me sight unseen. It was the best decision I have ever made. The bike is beautiful, cobalt blue with ghost flames. I added Rush performance slip on, chrome inner primary, passing lamps, turn signal run brake module (to help prevent some knucklehead from rear ending me) and a few other goodies. It's a real head turner and draws a crowd every time I park it. The bike runs like a true performance machine. The ride is smooth; the torque is more than enough. After the initial break in I let it loose at a stop light and all my buddies suddenly became small head lights in my rear view mirror. I will probably change out the stock head pipes at some point along with the air box and add a race tuning kit as the bike does seem to run a little hot. But I will wait until I get a chance to ride it when it's 90 degrees out and then make the decision. I also have a 03 Anniversary Low Rider that I bought and overpaid for in 03 that is done up to the max with extras over the years (she was my 1st love and she is for sale). If I tried to buy all the extras that came with the Road King it would probably have totaled up to more than what I spent on the Low Rider. If you have the chance or the money to buy a Screamin' Eagle Harley DO IT! You won't regret it!

The small complaints are the 100 mile range gas tank, and poor passenger comfort, even with the touring seat. As a matter of personal taste, I think it is one of the prettiest bikes on the road. It handles well for a 625 pound cruiser, and the under 4 second 0-60mph leaves most of my friends in the dust. This CVO Screamin' Eagle model has lots of chrome and 5 spoke rims. I never did like the solid v-rod rims.

Had to get use to the forward pegs, feet kept working themself off, especially at highway speeds. And with the new cross member on the bottom of the frame I can't use my lift on it, or at least I haven't figured it out yet.

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in the discussion. I purchased my scotter in Dec 2006. I've managed to put only 5000 miles on her so far. I have other rides that demand attention. As fas a the bike goes OUTSTANDING. Great fit and finish. Of course off the floor the bike is hampered by EPA restrictions, the same as any other mass produced bike. Out goes the stock air filter, pipes, and map. In go thunder header, K&N, and race tuner. Lesser bike beware this thing moves for 800 lbs of steel. Not a newbi bike. Will need to change the tires as the stock items track rain grooves a bit too much. I've had no problems with paint (glorious colors) or any mechanical gremlins. See ya down the road.

My friends and I looked this beauty over long and hard when I got home and we all came to the same conclusion. It is nothing short of a perfect Hotrod. If you're looking for a cruiser, you picked the wrong bike. If you want a bar hoppin' chopper that will put the thrill back in biking and give an adrenaline rush everytime you hit the throttle, you're looking at it. I can't say enough about it. It's an instant classic!

I see people trying to compare to V-max and other bikes and for the HP it is close, I am at a 137 rear wheel horsepower with my mods so far and plan on putting on a turbo. I have a friend that is running about the same set-up except he has the Destroyers pipes on his as well as a turbo and lets just say the Hyabusa's can not keep up.

They don't match. MoCo had replaced mine but these replacement parts are just as bad. I am hooked up with 33 other guys that have the same year bike, and the paint is bad on all of ours. The green is also bad in the '06. MoCo first tells you that there is nothing wrong, but they are replaceing parts on most of the bikes of my friends, but we have had to jump through hoops for a year to do so.
