It’s got plenty of torque, but it’s not trying to throw me off; it just pulls steady and smooth, like it’s reminding me who’s really in charge of the ride: me and the road. What keeps me hooked is the simplicity. No fairings, no distractions, just me and the machine. I like that I feel every bit of the ride—it’s raw and real. The mid-controls keep me in a comfortable stance, and the Dyna frame makes the bike feel solid without being clumsy. It’s nimble enough to handle the city, but on the open road, it stretches its legs and feels like it could go forever. This bike has been rock-solid. Routine maintenance, a little care, and it just runs. And unlike a lot of newer bikes, this one still has that mechanical, visceral feel—when you ride it, you know you’re on a Harley. On top of that, being a 2003, it’s got the 100th anniversary badging, which adds a little extra pride every time I park it and walk away. There’s no way to explain it to someone who hasn’t lived it. The nods from other riders at a stoplight, the conversations it sparks at the gas station, the way it turns even the most mundane errand into a ride worth remembering. It doesn’t matter how long I’ve owned it—every time I fire it up, I get that same grin I had the very first day. This is about the Harley Davidson Triglide. There was not an option in the list for it, so.... The triglide lets you sit back relax and feel the feeling that cannot be described, it has to be experienced. Heading down the road with either a short trip or a trip to dinner and dessert, the bike delivers the sound you cannot duplicate and the feeling of relax - all is well. I have owned a motorcycle of some type since 1988. I have had everything from Hondas to Kawasaki and Suzuki. This is by no means my first touring bike, but it is definitely one of the best. I particularly enjoy the throttle response when you need a little boost. It is not like a downshifted Hayabusa....but it gets the job done..and gets it done in a hurry with tons of power to spare. The Road Glide corners nicely and has a great lean angle unlike my Kawasaki that allowed me to feel the sphincter tightning running board warning pegs on a regular basis. The upgraded saddle is suitable for all day riding. The factory cruise and nice stereo allow you to listen to whatever you want while enjoying to open road. I especially enjoy the driver backrest for the most comfort in the saddle. My initial hesitation with owning a Harley was reliability. I can confidently say that I would hop on and take it anywhere at anytime. I have not run into any issues with it. Show less

Great starter bike, not the best for two up. Plenty of raw power to slightly feel old school but with modern enhancements, make sure to black/bobber/debage. . Tough appearance, vigorous engine: on paper, the Harley-Davidson Street Bob scores easily. Moreover, it knows how to translate that into practice. Apart from the Pan America (which you can’t compare it to of course) this is the best Harley I’ve ever ridden. That’s mainly because of the riding experience that the Street Bob offers. It likes a sporty riding style and the mini-apehanger is ideal for hanging around the bend. If you’re too enthusiastic however, you‘ll hit its limits. The weak brakes and the absent traction control should also be kept in mind. But don’t let that spoil the fun. Show less

Best Shovel Head I have ever ridden. Literally as smooth as my new Harley Hydro Glide Icon Series. The new Trans shifts smoother than any new Harley, and does not leak or even stain. Dependable as a new bike after restoration, while keeping the stock integrity by using new replacement parts that are stock specs. The modern upgrades do not physically take away from the stock FLH. Including electronic ignition, upgraded alternator, true dual exhaust fishtails, all new bushings and seals on wheels, swing arm, goose-neck, forks, and handlebar bushings. Front and rear brake master cylinders rebuilt with new brake pads, rear drum turned, kick and electric start are both dependable, brand new high-end whitewall tires, new bag locks, new battery with tender, new snap on/off windshield, and so much more.
