Worst vehicle ever made by Honda was the Honda Reflex 250 Scooter! Cooling fan burns out very 3 months. Cost to repair is $400. Honda does not stand behind their product. I got the bike in November of 2018 and rebuilt the motor and have replaced the rear shocks (my fault) and the tires (they were squared off) Oil pump was leaking oil on the back tire so that as well as all of the tubing has been removed. It starts in 2-3 kicks depending on the weather and is a lot of fun. Performance is 1 star only because, well, c'mon. Its a moped. It tops out at 38mph but the cornering is so much fun.

I really love my Roughhouse 50. It is extremely comfortable to ride. It is very quick from 0 to 30 mph. The RH 50 is at ease going to the local Starbuck's or going in the back 40 to fetch some eggs from my free range chickens. All in all this is a wonderful machine and am proud to own... read more

I used this bike mainly for riding around and for fun in the summer. The bike was quick and peppy and ran great. I actually just bought another recently. This bike is great except for a few things; 1. The seat is not very comfortable and not condusive to tall people. 2. The bike does not come with electric start so beware, unless you live in a warm climate, it's going to be hard to start. 3. Get some locktite, you're going to need it. These bike vibrate like no other and often times you'll find yourself with a fairing flapping in the breeze. 4. Oil injection can sometimes be defective, while this has not happened to me it can fry your top end and, Tomos refuses to fix this. that's it for the cons other than that, it's a great, fun bike for alternate transportation, work or fun. If I wasn't hit on mine, I would still be riding today!

I have been riding motorcycles for almost 40 years, and have owned just about everything out there. I had a moped back in '78, but sold it right away because I was young and wanted more speed. 30 years later I've grown up a little and no longer feel that I have to have the fastest thing out there. I currently have a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic, and am quite pleased with it. Anyway, I was in a motorcycle dealership just looking around and started looking at scooters. Then I thought about the moped I had 30 years ago. I started looking around, and the only brand I could find was Tomos. On a whim, I bought a Tomos ST. It has a 50cc two stroke engine, two speed automatic transmission, and pedals. It is fully street legal and to me anyway, looks better than a scooter. The first time I rode it, I felt like a kid again. It is the most fun I've had on two wheels in years. It is light and nimble, and makes the Vulcan seem big and awkward. I find I am riding the Vulcan less, and the moped more and more. To anybody considering buying a scooter, at least look at a moped first. They are a lot cheaper, more fun, easier to work on, and just plain cool.
